Just heard the Jim Hampton interview with Ken of WCFL boy, it was fun to relive those days. Thanks to John Rook for posting on my Facebook page.
Before Trump started his presidential campaign, there was a congressional race that redefined what was possible in American politics.
Graeme told us in the interview that he’d often wondered if you could calculate how fast the brick would have been going as it whizzed past his head. Here's the problem. Do you know the solution?
Thanks for the nice comments. I still love radio. Putting together special programs about radio in the past and how it affected our lives is a passion of mine.

Probably the most amazing thing about being a teenager and growing up in the 8767 55s and 8767 65s was the impact radio had on us and we didn 8767 t realize it at the time. Unfortunatly, you can 8767 t say that for todays radio. I was a wannabe DJ caught up in the excitement, doing shows at Metropolitan Beach and for a time was on the air from Macomb Community College radio, WMJB. I even auditioned for booth anouncer at WJBK (just didn 8767 t have the voice). Back then, the transistor radio was a teenagers best friend. Now, living in Pennsylvania, I can 8767 t take part in the Woodward Dream Cruise (or the Gratiot Cruise for that matter), but I can feel the thrill knowing it still goes on. I 8767 ve listened to your Radio Recall (being retired, I have a lot of time on my hands now), and appreciate your taking the time and trouble to put it together. I know how much work it was, so I know it was a labor of love. Thanks so very much!
